Cat grooming in Juno Beach. Yes, really.
Most salons in the area won't take cats. We do, and we do it slowly: one cat at a time, no dogs in the room, and a formulator's own dry bath for the ones who won't tolerate water.
What a cat groom includes
- A bath with the sensitive-skin shampoo, or the waterless dry bath if your cat won't have water
- Brush-out and de-shedding for long-haired cats
- Nail trim
- A sanitary tidy and any mat removal, discussed with you first
- Ears checked and cleaned
How we keep it calm
Cats are booked into their own slots so there are no dogs in the salon while they're here. One groomer, one room, no rushing. If a cat has had enough, we stop and you get an honest account of what got done.
Long-haired cats and matting
Persians, Maine Coons and Ragdolls mat under the arms and behind the ears no matter how good you are with a brush. A groom every six to eight weeks keeps it manageable. Mats tight to the skin get clipped, not pulled.
The dry bath
The DOWG dry bath spray is the product cat owners write to Carla about most. It cleans and deodorizes without water, and it's sold on the retail wall so you can keep your cat fresh between visits.
